Established in 1973, Dumas Tanjung Perak Shipyards began its journey as a ship repair company, providing repair and maintenance services for a wide range of vessels, including General Cargo vessels, Tug Boats, Pilot Boats, Patrol Boats, Ro-Ro Ferries, LCTs, Barges, Dredgers, and Tankers.
A significant milestone came in 2002, when PT Dumas entered into a technical cooperation agreement with Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, Netherlands. Through this cooperation, the two companies successfully built 14 vessels, serving both domestic and international markets, with several vessels exported overseas.
This cooperation marked an important step in Dumas’ development and opened the way for the company to participate in the international shipbuilding market.
From its beginnings in ship repair, Dumas has continuously expanded its capabilities and evolved into a fully established shipyard with expertise in new shipbuilding, serving both domestic and i international markets.
